ELLEN SMITH grew up dancing in Illinois and earned her BA in Dance at Middlebury College in 2005. Since then she has performed and traveled with Amy Chavasse Dance and Performance, El Circo Contemporaneo, Jane Comfort and Company, and Kate Elias. Dancing and teaching have taken her from Brooklyn and West Virginia to Mexico and Qatar. Most recently she's landed in Burlington, Vermont, where she is blessed to collaborate with local artists while continuing both to develop her own material and to work with Jane Comfort from afar.
